Community Guidelines

Last updated: February 22, 2026

1. Respect & Professionalism

BookClub is a professional community of prop traders sharing operational knowledge. We expect every interaction to reflect that.

  • No personal attacks, insults, or harassment of any kind
  • No trolling, baiting, or deliberately provocative behavior
  • Disagree with ideas, not people — critique the strategy, not the trader
  • Keep conversations constructive and on-topic

2. Trading Discussion Standards

We are here to share operational insight about prop firm trading. The following are not permitted:

  • Pump-and-dump schemes or market manipulation discussion
  • Signal selling, copy-trading promotions, or affiliate link spam
  • Guaranteed profit claims or unrealistic performance promises
  • Sharing proprietary firm evaluation data that violates your agreement

3. Content Rules

  • No spam, excessive self-promotion, or off-topic advertising
  • Self-promotion is welcome only when it adds genuine value to the discussion
  • Keep messages readable — no walls of text, no all-caps
  • Use the appropriate channels for different discussion topics

4. Privacy & Confidentiality

  • Never share another member's P&L, account data, or personal information
  • Do not screenshot or share private messages or DM conversations publicly
  • Respect that some members prefer anonymity — do not attempt to identify them
  • Do not share content from BookClub chapters outside the platform

5. Moderation Process

When a message is flagged by a community member, the following process occurs:

  1. Review: A moderator reviews the flagged content within 24 hours
  2. Decision: The moderator either dismisses the flag or removes the message
  3. Notification: If your message is removed, you'll receive a notification explaining why
  4. Appeal: If you believe a removal was made in error, reach out via DM to any moderator

6. Consequences

Violations are handled proportionally:

  • First offense: Message removal with notification and explanation
  • Repeated violations: Temporary restriction from community channels
  • Severe or persistent violations: Account suspension

The paywall exists to maintain signal quality. We take this seriously.
